Broad-tailed Hummingbird, banking into flower, Colorado Available in XL, L, M, S:Small 720x482 @72dpiWe've had a female Broad tailed Hummingbird coming to our yard all summer for about 10 years now. Males are less common.

There were plenty of those here

Note the hump-back appearance

Storks and Vultures seem to find each other compatible night-fellows

The trip to Mexico yielded a trove of trogons

We knew from other birders at the Convention Center that there was a Least Bittern nest somewhere in this pond

but so does its range

but very busy carrying in good sized sticks for their new nest

These jays are exciting to watch fly as you can imagine

This was another "sitting down"  find
