A Pair of George III Silver Waiters or Trays London 1775 by John Carter Sissons Smith & Coenquire An excellent pair of silver waiters or small trays of circular form with gadrooned rims standing on three claw and ball feet. The center of each engraved with a standing lion above a coronet facing outward with its tail extended. Marked to the underside for London 1775 by John Carter. These pieces are in first class unrestored undamaged condition of good color and patina. Of excellent weight and gauge silver these are very attractive early

and surviving original sets are extremely rare

The knives are in very fine condition with no repairs of splits

Overall in superb condition

The central plate engraved with floral and foliate arabesques
