With more pebbles than you can ever imagine they roar as the ocean rolls over them onto its shoreline. This bead was all about capturing the sweeping stretch of this coastline with its grey, sandy coloured shingle against the blue ocean all swirling and rolling together. To do this we melted a mixture of New Ivory, Amber

The bead is then heated until the stringers start to split and create a lace like structure that look like fossils laid into the surface of the bead
