8'0" Ryan Lovelace Thick Lizzy kitchen8'0" The Thick Lizzy is another great performance oriented midlength developed by Ryan Lovelace. Similar to Lovelace's vBowls model in essence, but with some twists that make this board arguably more versatile. The Thick Lizzy is shaped like a miniature glider with the same nose and tail template for a balanced outline that allows for more play with the upper half of the board than the vBowls which can be touchy to surf forward due to its narrow nose.

The rocket profile is gradually elongated out the tail and has a good amount of kick in the nose

with a moderate belly that extends from nose to tail

This board is a remake off of a 2008 board that Greg Liddle hand shaped for Ryan Thomas (RT) that was acquired via Craigslist and surfed by a shop member in the shorebreak of Ocean Beach

The bottom consists of a nearly nose-to-tail vee that is actually rather extreme in the tail

The rail foil is boxy and forgiving with a low rocker profile for skating effortlessly across soft surf
