Japanese Climbing Hydrangea - Schizophragma hydrangeoides Size:5 gal size 3-4 year old plantsWhen I first saw this fabulous Japanese climbing hydrangea on my friend's Russ & Vicki's pergola, I was sold! The flowers were very large (8" 10" across), lace cap style and the foliage is dark green, toothed and heart shaped, very attractive. I do like it better than other forms of climbing hydrangeas, and it looks very well behaved, not crawling over everything in sight like some other types. It is deciduous and turns a handsome yellow in the fall
