Mappin & Webb Brass Carriage Clock With Plaque Attributing to Sultanate of Oman, c.1985. The LibraryA Mappin & Webb brass carriage clock in near mint condition and perfect working order, together with original winding key. To the rear of the clock is a plaque which reads 'THE SULTANATE OF OMAN, U. S.$400,000,000, JANUARY 1985'. The military cooperation 'Access Agreement' between the United Kingdom, the United States and Oman was renewed in 1985. It is believed that this clock was commemorative of the event and presented to a figure or body involved.

Both bon bon dishes are in an excellent condition with clear hallmarks

The spines of both volumes show some fading but overall

but otherwise remains in a  good condition

In 1818 he took as his partner his son Henry Lias I and they were joined from 1823 to 1837 by another son

free from both inscription and damage

There are few very small scuffs to the box in places consistent with age

There is shelf wear to the extremities of both volumes and a small tear to the title panel of Volume I
